As I am not a person who 'loves' going to any dentist, I can honestly say that seeing Dr. Larsen is something that I actually like to do. He actually explains things to me in an easy and understandable way. This takes away that 'anxious' pre-procedure feeling. Instead, I listen very carefully to everything he tells me about my condition, and try to follow along with everything he is doing. When he takes X-rays, he is thorough enough to put them up on a screen and show them to me. Then he explains exactly what he is going to do and what the expected outcome will be. I also have to mention the very competent and welcoming staff, who put a patient as ease right from the start. A patient cannot ask for more than that!

On this particular visit I had the pleasure of meeting Oro Valley Dental Arts new dentist, Dr. Jonathan Icely. I found Dr. Icely to be very caring, knowledgeable, and through in addressing my needs and concerns which are attributes that I have come to expect and have always appreciated very much from Dr. Larsen’s practice.

When I was referred to see Dr. Larsen, I was beyond scared of the dentist. I had gum recession and was afraid that I could lose some teeth. In addition, have many old, large fillings in most of my teeth. Dr. Larsen was extremely patient with me and calmed me down immediately. Dr. Larsen takes his time to explain what procedures are necessary and which issues we can watch. Over the last 7 years I have been BEYOND delighted with my care at the office. I broke a tooth and Dr. Larsen and his team provided excellent support for my anxiety. I was able to take out a care credit card for the cost. Dr. Larsen is so gentle that I didn’t even feel the Novocain shot. I am 100% confident that if I moved from Tucson, I would create a yearly trip to get my dental checkups form Dr. Larsen. I trust him 100% with my dental care. (BTW, I haven’t lost any teeth!)

Dr Larsen and his team are amazing. I havent been able to smile in 30+ years and now I have no problem smiling. He is gentle and very painless. Im so glad I went to this office!!

I was afraid of the dentist, but that is no longer the case, I have been to other dentist, but I have to tell you that Dr. Larsen and his staff are the kindest, helpful, and loving group of people that I have ever met. I first met Vanessa, when I walked into the office she said she was so happy I came in to see them. I had talked to her a couple days earlier to make an appointment. Crystal Dr. Larsen’s assistant, was kind,gentle, held my hand, and wiped my tears during my procedure. Dr. Larsen was very kind, understanding, gentle and I felt no pain.

- I can’t tell you enough about how great Dr. Larsen and his staff are. I am so afraid of the dentist. I thank God every day I found them. They are all so kind, gentle, understanding, non judgmental and always there to help with your fears. Everyone in Dr. Larsen’s office is so nice. The three people I dealt with the most are, Vanessa, at the front desk, she is always happy to see you, great smile, upbeat and always wants to help you in any way she can. Crystal, Dr. Larsen’s assistant, is kind, gentle, supportive, and when I was scared she held my hand and wiped my tears. Dr. Larsen, the best dentist ever. He gave me my smile back. And more than that, he gave me my confidence back about myself. Dr. Larsen’s kind, gentle, soft spoken, understanding, and through this all there was no pain, big plus!

Dr. Larsen is a great dentist - and his office staff is exceptional. New to Tucson, I needed to find a dentist and he was recommended. I have never had difficulty getting an appointment - and have had a couple of emergencies while I've been seeing him, with never a problem.
I have never felt like he was trying to upsell me to services that I didn't need, but that he was open and clear about what needed to be done - and why. And in the one case that he wasn't sure what the results would be from a referral, he was clear about that as well. I really appreciate the service and care I have had at his office. Highly recommended.
