Dr. Joseph M. Larsen, DMD

Dr. Larsen has been practicing in Oro Valley for nearly two decades -- long enough to have treated the same families across multiple generations. He came here after graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and never left, which tells you something about how he feels about this community. His focus outside of general dentistry is implants. He completed a  Fellowship in implantology and places 10 to 15 implants a month, handling both the surgical and restorative sides of treatment so patients aren't shuttled between providers. What patients tend to mention most, though, isn't his credentials. It's that he explains things clearly, doesn't rush, and is genuinely easy to talk to. That's been true since day one, and it's still what the practice is built around. Dr. Jyoti Farwaha, DMD

Dr. Farwaha has been with Oro Valley Dental Arts for over ten years, which makes her one of the longest-tenured members of the team. Before settling in Oro Valley, she practiced in San Francisco and Nashville -- a background that shaped both her clinical range and her ability to connect with patients from all walks of life. She completed a Fellowship in implantology through the ICOI, and her scope of practice reflects a genuine interest in where dentistry and overall health intersect. In addition to general care, she focuses on Invisalign, Botox, and sleep apnea treatment -- three areas that are easy to overlook in a dental setting but can make a real difference in how patients feel day to day. Patients who see Dr. Farwaha tend to appreciate that she listens carefully and doesn't push treatment. She'd rather you understand your options and make a decision that's right for you. Dr. Diana Zhen, DMD

Dr. Zhen joined Oro Valley Dental Arts after completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Phoenix, where she focused on complex procedures while caring for underserved communities. It's the kind of training that builds both technical range and genuine perspective on what patients actually need.
She earned her dental degree from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine and chose dentistry for a reason she'll tell you plainly: she wanted work where the difference she makes is real and lasting. That shows up in how she approaches care; less about quick fixes, more about setting patients up for long-term health.
